This is 7/11 Mahishkapur Road. I don't know Subroto, but I did know this as the place I grew up. This is the quarter where we spent 14 years, since I was 1 year old till I was 15. In our neighbour (7/9) stayed beautiful Alodidi & Bulbulididi. In 7/13 there stayed Raja dada, Sen mama and maima. In the earlier street, i.e., street number 5 stayed Kaushik Bhattacharya. Kaushik was a good friend of mine and his mother was very caring, no less than my own mother. She died few years back due to cancer.
On street number 1 stayed Majumdar Kaku, Dey kaku. Majumdar kaku is the most cordial person I have seen in my whole life. There were Mou and Mini, their daughters respectively. On street number 3 stayed the Chatterjees and the Adityas. Adityas later shifted to street number 1, and the Chatterjees went to Ramanujam. Baptu and Moondidi were from the Chatterjees. Bappada and Rana were from the Adityas. On street number 5 stayed Babloo and Moushumi.
It's a wonderful world :)
